Texas T-Rex Visits Texas Scottish Rite Hospital For Children

The Duncan Motorsports Team was on hand with the Texas T-Rex LSGTPA Youth Class pulling tractor, during the 2015 Texas Scottish Rite Hospital For Children's, Farm and Ranch Day event.  The team displayed the tractor, and allowed children to actually set in the machine and learn about what it takes to drive a pulling tractor.  Several children made return visits to the LSGTPA booth, to set in the drivers seat and take photos aboard the Texas T-Rex.

The annual event is usually held at the Reverchon Park in Dallas, which is located next to TSRHC campus.  With rain in the forecast this year, the event was held in the TSRHC parking garage.  The Duncan Motorsports team had a great day, visiting with the cool kids attending the event, and talking a little tractor pulling !

Bonham Heritage Day LSGTPA Tractor Pull

The LSGTPA teams will be rolling into Bonham, Texas on Saturday May 2.  The teams will compete as part of the Bonham Heritage Days festival, and are scheduled for a 3pm start time at the historic Powder Creek Park pulling track.  Come out and enjoy a great day of LSGTPA tractor pulling action !!

Hunt County Fair LSGTPA Tractor Pull 2015

The LSGTPA tractor pulling teams will be competing in Greenville, Texas on Friday and Saturday nights, April 24, 25.   The double header event will be held in conjunction with the Hunt County Fair, and is scheduled for a 6pm start on both nights.

Opening ceremonies will feature our National Anthem by Bailey Melvin, followed by two rounds of exciting LSGTPA tractor pulling action !

DELTA COUNTY FAIR LSGTPA SEASON OPENER SET FOR SATURDAY

The LSGTPA 2015 pulling season will kick off Saturday at 2pm.  in Cooper Texas !  The event will be a feature of the Delta County Fair and Livestock Show, held at Harmon Park.  Lauren Taylor will present the National Anthem performance, followed by two rounds of LSGTPA tractor pulling action.  Rocky Young Construction has prepared and will maintain the pulling track surface.

Performance Automotive News has published the 2015 LSGTPA pulling schedule, and will provide event coverage for each pull !

Duncan Motorsports Twisted Kitty Tractor to Debut in 2015

The construction of the 'Twisted Kitty' LSGTPA Youth Class tractor, looks to be on track to provide a 2015 debut for the Lane Duncan piloted machine.  The Duncan Motorsports team hopes to be ready for an early spring debut of the tractor, and may possibly be ready for the first event of the LSGTPA pulling season.  With an April start, the LSGTPA is rumored to have events in Cooper and Greenville, Texas tentatively scheduled. The team will have the 'Texas T-Rex' tractor ready to roll, and would like to be able to field the 'Twisted Kitty' tractor at the season opener, as well....but, only time will tell !

The team has a lot of work ahead, in a short amount of time, to prepare both tractors.  The team has enlisted assistance from several fabulous companies, that have helped to provide products for which to assemble the 1969 Sears Suburban 12.  ARP has awarded the team a supply of bolts, which will be used to assemble the tractor and engine.  ARP products have been used on the 'Texas T-Rex' tractor since 2010, and have performed flawlessly.  The team is excited to have ARP's continued support with the new tractor !

Precision Cams has assisted the team with a replacement camshaft, for the Briggs Stratton engine.  These camshafts are no longer in production, so utilizing the Precision Cams team to provide a factory replacement was a huge part of the effort.  Total Seal Piston Rings is currently working with the team, to provide a set of rings for the original replacement piston, which are also no longer in production for off-the-shelf pistons.  We are excited to have been able to work with the Total Seal Piston Rings team on our tractors, as we have for our engines in our race cars !

North Texas Speed & Machine has agreed to work with the Duncan Motorsports team, to provide machine shop services on the tractor engines.  The shop has provided block machine work and crankshaft work for the Briggs Stratton engine.  Fulton's Metal & Hardware has always made time to assist with our fabrication projects, and this year is no exception.  Fulton's has assisted with and provided for much of the special fabrication materials, which can be seen on both the 'Texas T-Rex' and 'Twisted Kitty' tractors.

As the team prepares for the 2015 LSGTPA pulling season, we would like to thank these companies and all of the others, that are involved in supporting our tractor pulling efforts !  We are going to try and acknowledge with highlights, as the season goes on, the assistance we have received from these groups and individuals....so stay tuned !!     Thanks again guys and gals....we appreciate your support !!

DUNCAN MOTORSPORTS TEAM PLANS SECOND TRACTOR FOR 2015

Lane Duncan and his LSGTPA Youth Class tractor pulling team, are already hard at work preparing for 2015.  The team plans to add a second tractor, to the 'Texas T-Rex' stable.  A few updates are planned for the 'Texas T-Rex' tractor for 2015, while the new tractor will be assembled with a slightly different combination.  The team hopes to utilize the different setups, to test different combinations throughout the year, and ultimately improve performance of both tractors.

We would like to thank everyone who supported our efforts in 2014, and are looking forward to the 2015 LSGTPA pulling season !  Stay tuned.....

DUNCAN PILOTS TEXAS T-REX TO TOP FIVE FINISH

Lane Duncan piloted his Texas T-Rex tractor to a top five finish during the Rockdale Fair & Rodeo LSGTPA tractor pull.  The 2014 LSGTPA season finale closed the books for year, and Lane emerged with another top five points finish for the Texas T-Rex pulling team.

Plans are underway for the 2015 pulling season for Lane Duncan, and his 'Texas T-Rex' pulling team.  The team hopes to complete the construction of a second 'sister' tractor, to team with the T-Rex for the 2015 season.  The new tractor looks to be a slightly 'twisted' version of the 'Texas T-Rex' !  STAY TUNED !
