Merry Christmas !!!

Lane had the T-Rex dressed up for the holiday season, at the Cooper Christmas Parade in Cooper, Texas.

We lined up at the old Elementary School, then proceeded to the downtown square.

Lane and the T-Rex strolled over the bricks at the downtown square, waving at the crowd.

After, the parade, we were treated to a stew and chili supper at the Delta County Civic Center.

We had a great time in Cooper.  It turned out to be a little cool after the sun went down, so the stew supper was a perfect meal to cap the evenings events.

I've always liked tractor pulling....so this project has turned into the most fun I believe I have had on a build.  I wanted my son to be involved in a hobby, that both of us liked.  He seemed to like tractors, and I liked horsepower...so here we went.  We had an uncle, Larry,  that donated to the cause, a 1972 Sears Super Suburban Garden Tractor.

It has been a blast building this tractor side by side with my son, and seeing him doing well in the sport after all the hard work he has put in to it, has been awesome.  He seems to really enjoy it, and I think that knowing he built it, makes his success just that much sweeter.

As the 2010 season comes to a close, we would like to thank all those that helped us.  Thanks to Larry King, for the tractor for this project.  Thanks to Richard and Nancy Duncan, aka Nannie and PawPaw for help in the shop and at the track.  And thanks to all the friends and fans that helped us all along the way.
