T-Rex Team Wraps Up Season In Rockdale

Lane Duncan wrapped up the 2015 LSGTPA tractor pulling season for the Texas T-Rex Team in Rockdale,  Texas, during the Rockdale Fair & Rodeo Tractor Pull.  Lane pulled double duty, as the young driver piloted both his 'Texas T-Rex' tractor for his Duncan Motorsports Team, and the 'Yes Deere' tractor for the Mean Green Pulling Team camp.

Texas T-Rex Team Ready To Roll In Rockdale

Lane Duncan and his 'Texas T-Rex' are ready to roll to Rockdale, for the upcoming LSGTPA tractor pulling event at the Rockdale Fair & Rodeo.  The event has a 12noon start time, and is contested on the historic Rockdale Fair Grounds horse racing track.

Duncan and team hope to rebound from a fourth place finish at the Help-A-Child Benefit Pull in Sulphur Springs.  The 'Texas T-Rex' found the sand-clay mix track at the Parker Auction Complex, a little too slick for its liking.  The track surface was watered down, prior to first round action, and Lane and his 'T-Rex' tractor found a slick spot on the track.  The first round ended with the team in third place.   After discussing tactics, Lane elected to go for the win rather than a safe run, so the team line up along the left side of the track, hoping to find fresh and dry track.  Lane made a great run, walking the edge until nearing the end of track, where the 'T-Rex' made a quick move to the side lines.  Knowing he needed a Full Pull to secure the win, Lane stayed on the throttle until the 'T-Rex' crossed either the finish line or the side line....which ended up being the side line on this night !

The team had a great time with friends, fans and family at the Help-A-Child Benefit, and are already looking forward to returning in 2016 !
