Texas T-Rex Team Returns To Roots At Enloe Christmas Parade

Lane Duncan and his 'Texas T-Rex' LSGTPA Youth Class pulling tractor returned to Enloe, Texas to participate in the annual Enloe Christmas Parade in 2015.  Enloe is the 'hometown' of the ' Texas T-Rex', as this is the community that the 1972 Sears Super Suburban garden tractor was retired.  The tractor served the community up until it was finally parked after years of service.  The owner of the tractor, Larry King, learned of the plans to compete in LSGTPA tractor pulling that Lane and father Jeff Duncan were working on.  'Uncle' Larry then offered up the garden tractor, as a donation to the project in 2008.  After a complete disassembly and rebuild of the tractor, and modifications to transform and prepare the machine for LSGTPA tractor pulling, the team made their debut in 2010.

Each year, the 'Texas T-Rex' team participates in events in Enloe and the surrounding area of Delta County, and enjoys visiting with those who have supported the team since day one !

Texas T-Rex Team Ready To Roll In Rockdale

Lane Duncan and his 'Texas T-Rex' are ready to roll to Rockdale, for the upcoming LSGTPA tractor pulling event at the Rockdale Fair & Rodeo.  The event has a 12noon start time, and is contested on the historic Rockdale Fair Grounds horse racing track.

Duncan and team hope to rebound from a fourth place finish at the Help-A-Child Benefit Pull in Sulphur Springs.  The 'Texas T-Rex' found the sand-clay mix track at the Parker Auction Complex, a little too slick for its liking.  The track surface was watered down, prior to first round action, and Lane and his 'T-Rex' tractor found a slick spot on the track.  The first round ended with the team in third place.   After discussing tactics, Lane elected to go for the win rather than a safe run, so the team line up along the left side of the track, hoping to find fresh and dry track.  Lane made a great run, walking the edge until nearing the end of track, where the 'T-Rex' made a quick move to the side lines.  Knowing he needed a Full Pull to secure the win, Lane stayed on the throttle until the 'T-Rex' crossed either the finish line or the side line....which ended up being the side line on this night !

The team had a great time with friends, fans and family at the Help-A-Child Benefit, and are already looking forward to returning in 2016 !

Duncan Motorsports Texas T-Rex Shows Consistency

Lane Duncan continues to turn in great driving performances aboard his 'Texas T-Rex', LSGTPA Youth Class pulling tractor, as the team searches for ways to improve the performance of the tractor.  For the 2015 season, the tractor has improved in consistency, which allows the team to make small changes in search of ever improving performances.

As the LSGTPA 2015 pulling season begins the last half of scheduled events, the team still hopes to debut the second Youth Class tractor for an event or two.  Problems with the number one engine, has forced the team to install a backup engine in the new tractor, in an effort to put the machine on the track.  The team hopes to continue improving the 'Texas T-Rex', and debut the new 'Twisted Kitty' tractor, to enjoy a fun second half of the 2015 pulling season.
