Duncan Works Texas T-Rex To Podium Finish At Bill Halter Memorial Tractor Pull

Lane Duncan piloted his Texas T-Rex tractor, to a third place finish at the Bill Halter Memorial Tractor Pull.  The LSGTPA event is held in Blue Ridge, Texas, and is named in honor of longtime puller Billy Halter, who passed away in 2006, and who rests at the Blue Ridge Cemetery overlooking the pulling track.  Blue Ridge, which was originally named Pull'n Tug before 1860, is a blackland track which usually favors the higher horsepower tractors.  The surface can be tricky, depending upon the moisture content and track preparation.  On this weekend, the Texas T-Rex had a great second round pull, to post the podium finish in the third spot.
