TEAM T-REX TAKES ON TRICKY TRACK AT TAWAKONI

Lane Duncan and his 'Texas T-Rex' pulling tractor faced a tricky track and some trying conditions during the Rolling Oaks Volunteer Fire Department Tractor Pull.  The LSGTPA event was contested near the Wills Point community, just south of Lake Tawakoni.  Area rain showers on the dark clay track, had the initial surface slippery early in the day.  Light showers throughout the event, and cool temperatures, made for an ever changing track.   Lane managed a top five finish for the team, at the end of the day.

The team will now clean and prepare the 'Texas T-Rex' Youth Class tractor for the LSGTPA 2014 season finale at the Rockdale Fair and Rodeo event, Saturday October 18.   The last event of the year is scheduled for a 12 noon start, with opening ceremonies to include the National Anthem presentation by 2012 Rockdale Fair Queen and performing artist, Emily McCoy.
